What is Mediation?MEDIATION ARBITRATION

In mediation, an unbiased third party (the mediator) assists the parties in this process by conducting private interviews and negotiations with each party to discuss settlement opportunities and facilitate an agreeable solution.

Disputes are brought before a neutral third party (the arbitrator) who, after carefully reviewing all of the relevant information, issues a final decision in favor of one of the parties.

What is Mediation?MEDIATION ARBITRATION

Mediation is a voluntary method of alternative dispute resolution that allows parties to craft their own solution to a dispute.

Arbitration offers parties a decisive legal outcome to their dispute without the expense and inconvenience of court proceedings and attorney fees.

Mediation at WorkSarah JessicaYou went to a party and saw

your friend Jessica’s boyfriend with Emily. You told Jessica and she did not believe you and since that day she has been leaving hateful messages on your cell phone and placing hurtful things about you on her website. You feel threatened by her and her friends and hate school because of this.

Sarah hit on your boyfriend at a party last month. You feel betrayed because you and Sarah use to be best friends. Emily (your new best friend) has shown you pictures on what happened at the party, so you know that it was Sarah hitting on Jeff and not Emily.
