Second Sunday of Easter - Divine Mercy Sunday April 23, 2017
Holy Thursday
2
Pastor’s Corner Dear Parishioners,
Today is the Feast of Divine Mercy and the last day
of the novena which takes place at 2:30 pm! We are
fortunate to have our own Divine Mercy altar which serves
as a reminder of the mysticism of St. Faustina of Poland
and the promises of Jesus of His mercy that awaits the faithful
who persevere and seek His mercy. Thanks to our Divine Mercy folks who
have done all of the planning for this very important devotion in our church.
The Easter season continues!! I am extraordinarily grateful to so many
people who helped make our Triduum and Easter Sunday celebrations a real
winner. Many people worked behind the scenes to help ensure that our Holy
Week was so special and edifying: Ron Peña and family and friends who did the
spring cleaning of our Adoration chapel (they are incredibly selfless!!); the Altar
Society and Environment and Liturgy Support Group, the Our Lady of Fatima
Rosary group, the Our Lady of Lourdes Rosary group, our Liturgy Committee,
Matthew and James and Life Teen core members and teens for their moving
Stations of the Cross celebration on Good Friday, the presenters for the Seven
Last Words, Dr. Christian Marcoe and Tom Makiling and our A+ cantors, choir
members, directors and instrumentalists, Sandra Rodas and her awesome RCIA
team which includes the saintly Lana and Lu, our greeters, ushers, Arturo and
Rafik, Ruben Salcedo and his Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, Eldrin
Masangkay, our seminarians Matthew Miguel and Danny Guinto, all of our
awesome sacristans and holy altar servers, Our Penance service team: Paul,
Ruben, Linda, Ernie and Anita, Tom Arredondo and Mike Vista and our
phenomenal lectors, my brother priests (Fr. Kevin, Fr. Xavier, Fr. Juan and Fr.
Sam), Deacon Neon Recuenco, Deacon Ron and Patti Baker and the Geraci and
Gomez families, our “Dead Christ” procession crews, our money counters, the 12
people who participated in the Washing of the Feet, the Holy Oils presenters on
Holy Thursday, Steve for coordinating so much ushering, our parish office
personnel – Cecile and Cherry – Sheila and anyone else that I may have failed to
mention … THANK YOU!!
Our 2017 Keep on Rollin’ event is coming up on Saturday, June 17th!
Event and raffle tickets are being sold. Please consider supporting YOUR parish
by attending this event and purchasing raffle tickets for a $10,000 grand prize!
We are still awaiting final approval from the archdiocese, but we aspire to
give the upper corridors of the high school a total face lift, including paint, flooring
and lighting. At the grade school, we hope to renovate the faculty lounge, the
original building corridors and do some work in some of the classrooms (lighting,
flooring, blinds). These improvements are long overdue and we are excited! If you
would like to invest in our future and make a donation towards any of these
projects, please make your check out to Holy Family and drop it off at the parish
office with instructions as to where you would like your investment in our future to
be directed. Your donations to our building projects are always welcome!

y cantaré a Tu nombre,
Oh Altísimo. Sal 9, 2-3
BENDITO SEA DIOS! BENDITA
pecado.
amor.
AVISOS
