I suppose one could say that Fred Neuman was the one

person who changed the face of the jewellery trade… Before

Fred and Maria’s arrival in Sydney… jewellery design

was firmly rooted in the English tradition of engagement,

wedding and eternity rings… But the Neumans with their

elegant taste changed that.The loss of Maria so much before her time was a sad blow for

all who knew Fred, but onward and upward he went, becoming

a man who endured, earning the respect and affection from all

enormous amount of people in the early 80’s when Diamond

prices crashed …but because of you (you only) keeping your

word/promise the name Mondial became number “1”, a very

trusted name in the Asian market…You have set a pretty
