Prezentácia Monicy Munteanu na konferencii Mesto pre ľudí, ľudia pre mesto, ktorá sa konala od 24/3 do 27/3 v priestoroch KC Dunaj. --- Monica je absolventkou ekonómie na Univerzite Petrosani v Rumunsku, kde neskôr získala aj titul z projektového manažmentu. V rokoch 2005 – 2007 absolvovala korešpondenčné kurzy na World English Institute (WEI). Od roku 2001 pracuje pre samosprávu Vulcan. Podieľala sa na implementácii rôznych projektov v rámci Regionálneho operačného programu 2007-2013, INTERREG IV C, Mládeže v akcii 2007-2013, PHARE, ISPA, Programu Svetovej banky. --- Monica graduated from the University of Petrosani, Romania with a major in Finance and Insurance; World English Institute (WEI)- advanced level courses- Correspondence courses 2005-2007 USA; In 2011 at the University from Petroşani- Project Manager Degree. Since 2001 she has been working for the Municipality of Vulcan. She implemented projects on: Regional Operational Programme 2007-2013, INTERREG IV C, Youth in Action Programme 2007-2013, PHARE, ISPA, World Bank Programme.

The main objective was to create a bridge between citizens and local authorities. Three main points were established:

From the point of view of the project team:

1.Volunteering

2. To choose a public place for public meetings for modernization

3. For the next EU financial period 2014-2020, the citizens to have project ideas. And how we can obtain funds with good projects for our community?

From the point of view of civil society:

1. voluntary activities in December

2. the citizens chose the area in the front of the town hall

3. the citizens have time till 31st March to ask the projects they want from EU funds. Till now, they chose investments in building rehabilitations, green areas, rehabilitations and hospital equipment, tourism in the mountains

2. The area from the front of town hall is chosen for public meetings, so here during these days are mounted 12 banks, flowers are planted and a billboard will be set till 31st March.

Results, outputs for these 3 objectives:1. In December the project team in partnership with Red Cross Agency distributed 140 packages to needy children.

3. Till 31st March the citizens send proposals about the investments they want in the local community.

The sustainability of our project post-implementation:1. The voluntary activities established for December, every year;2. The place in the front of town hall building- renovated 3. The projects that will be implemented from European funds with the support of the citizens.
