1. In Purulia, work order has been issued for 15 girls hostels being implemented by HRBC. 2. In Purulia, work order has been issued for 3 school building-cum-hostels being implemented by HRBC and 4 by PWD (CB). ------------------------------------------------------------------ 3. In Paschim Medinipur, Out of 50 girls hostels, re-tendering will be done for 20 girls hostels being implemented by HRBC. Work order will be issued on 31.10.2012 if necessary responses received. For 30 girls hostels, being implemented by PWD (CB) 13 work orders have been issued and 14 were under process for re-tendering. 4. In Paschim Medinipur, Out of 10 school building cum hostels, 4 school building & hostels being implemented by HRBC for which tender process will be completed by 31.10.2012. For 6 cases, being done by PWD (CB) re-tendering will be done by 31.10.2012. ------------------------------------------------------------------ 5. In Bankura, 5 girls hostels being implemented by HRBC of which work order issued for 2 hostels. Out of 10 implemented by PWD (CB) 7 work orders have been issued. 6. In Bankura, 5 school building cum hostels being implemented by HRBC. HRBC informed that the 5 school buildings would be completed within 18 months and re-tendering will be done by HRBC by 17.10.2012. For the 1 being done by PWD (CB) re-tendering will be done by 19.10.12

1) The improvement of village roads on canal embankment at Lalgarh and Salboni were almost complete.

(PWD) alongwith Irrigation officials held a meeting and the location of the proposed building and also alignment of the approach road have been finalized.
