Sandwich fl ow regulatorThis unit, which is fi tted between a subbase and a valve, incorporates 2 fl ow regulators in the exhaust ports 3 and 5. These fl ow regulators are designed to control the speed of a cylinder rod.Weight: 0.230 kg
Separate pressure supply module This unit, which is fi tted between the subbase and the valve, allows
this individual valve to be supplied at a different pressure from that of the other valves in the system. The main pressure supply for the subbases is not blocked by adding this module.

CONNECTION OPTIONS
• The endplates provide for connection of pressure port (1) and exhaust ports (3-5) at the sides at the ends of the assembly (see fi g. 1 and 2).
• The joinable subbases provide for connection of outlet ports 2 and 4 on the right-hand side (see fi g. 1 and 2).
• The underside of each subbase is provided with ports for connection of pressure supply and exhaust ports (see fi g. 3) providing for a third pressure supply (see fi g. 5).
• Connection of ports 12 and 14 on the sides of the endplates or the left-hand and right-hand sides of the subbases.
Blank off unused holes.Endplates and subbases are connected together with a special fi tting secured with set screws.

GENERALThis subbase system comprises joinable subbases and accessories with the three following characteristics:• The equipment has a standard interface so that series 541 spool valves which
comply to the international standard ISO 5599/1, size 1, can be fi tted.• Joinable subbases with side ports.• The subbases are fi tted with with selector plates so that various piping arrange-
ments and inter-connections can be selected.CONNECTION POSSIBILITIESThese joinable subbases with side ports offer many advantages:• Various piping possibilities due to a large number of port connections.• Simple assembly in panels due to improved accessibility of the ports.• Easy maintenance.• Reduction in costs due to removal of pivoting mounting chassis and a reduction in
the number of fi ttings.• Possibility of mounting directly onto the body of a machine.• Reduction in the tubing lengths provide for improved fl ow rates and response times.These subbases allow piping to outlet ports (2-4) and pilot ports (12, 14) on both sides as shown below.The endplates allow the piping of the main pressure supply (1) and common ex-hausts (3,5). In addition, the pilots (12, 14) can be connected on face T1 or face T2 or on both faces T1 and T2.

Assembly with the pressure supply port in 1 endplate and the exhaust on the other end-plate.
Selector plates supplied as standard allow the assembly as shown above.
For this assembly, a selector plate allowing fl ow through port 1 is required. All other fl ow paths are blocked while the common pressure sup-ply is maintained. The other side must be plugged.
2 selector plates, one with fl ow through port 1 and one with fl ow through ports 3 and 5 on the endplates, allow this arrangement (to ISO 1) without having to plug any ports.
Assembly with 1 supply on 1 endplate and the exhausts on both endplates.
For this assembly, a selector plate with connections between 3 and 5 is necessary.
Assembly with 2 different pressures and with the com-mon exhaust piped to both endplates.
The pilots are piped separately to each subbase (plate 1-3-5 supplied with each subbase).
Pilot on side 14 is connected between 2 or more subbases.
Return on side 12 is connected between 2 or more subbases (uses the same plate as the one above).
Blanking plate (allows a manifold to be used with 2 different supply pressures).
Allows the inter-connection of both pilots 12, 14 for 2 or more valves placed side by side.

CONNECTION OPTIONS
• The endplates provide for connection of pressure port (1) and exhaust ports (3-5) at the sides at the ends of the assembly (see fi g. 1 and 2).
• The joinable subbases provide for connection of outlet ports 2 and 4 on the right-hand side (see fi g. 1 and 2).
• The underside of each subbase is provided with ports for connection of pressure supply and exhaust ports (see fi g. 3) providing for a third pressure supply (see fi g. 5).
• Connection of ports 12 and 14 on the sides of the endplates or the left-hand and right-hand sides of the subbases.

GENERALThis subbase system comprises joinable subbases and accessories with the three following characteristics:• The equipment has a standard interface so that series 541 spool valves which
comply to the international standard ISO 5599/1, size 1, can be fi tted.• Joinable subbases with side ports.• The subbases are fi tted with with selector plates so that various piping arrange-
ments and inter-connections can be selected.CONNECTION POSSIBILITIESThese joinable subbases with side ports offer many advantages:• Various piping possibilities due to a large number of port connections.• Simple assembly in panels due to improved accessibility of the ports.• Easy maintenance.• Reduction in costs due to removal of pivoting mounting chassis and a reduction in
the number of fi ttings.• Possibility of mounting directly onto the body of a machine.• Reduction in the tubing lengths provide for improved fl ow rates and response times.These subbases allow piping to outlet ports (2-4) and pilot ports (12, 14) on both sides as shown below.The endplates allow the piping of the main pressure supply (1) and common ex-hausts (3,5). In addition, the pilots (12, 14) can be connected on face T1 or face T2 or on both faces T1 and T2.
