On June 2-3, 2016, the President of BMDA and Dean of Adizes

University of Donja Gorica UDG will organize "Camp for talent" in

Cetinje, from Thursday 30th June to Tuesday 5th July, for students of

9th grade of elementary school and first year of high school, who are

willing to express their talent or creativity, imagination, imagination,

willpower, initiative and innovation.

On the basis of motivation letters, recommendations of teachers and

parents, 25 of them will be selected to attend the camp. Selected stu-

dents will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience that will be

used later in life and work.

EFMD happy to announce that the EPAS Accreditation Board has recent-

ly awarded the EPAS accreditation to three Institutions from Canada,

Estonia and United Kingdom. EFMD is delighted to welcome two new

countries, Canada and Estonia, to the EPAS pool!

Four new programmes from three institutions have been recently recog-

nised by EPAS quality label.

The 17th edition of CEEMAN’s IMTA-International Management Teach-

ers Academy that hosted 25 participants from 14 countries, concluded

on Thursday, 23 June with the graduation ceremony and a dinner at the

spectacular Bled Castle. IMTA is a major hub for faculty development in

the area of management education: close to 570 educators from 160

institutions and 49 countries around the world have completed IMTA

since 2000.

On June 7-8, 2016 the key executives of AGS gathered together to dis-

cuss the further development of Adizes Graduate School.

During the 2 days session the participants of the meeting explored vari-

ous possibilities of AGS expansion as well as discussed how Adizes Grad-

uate School could satisfy her students and partners institutions needs

better.

A lot of important strategic decisions have been made and new steps for

AGS development have been decided.

In June 2016, Julia Ellen Melkers, Associate Professor of the School of

Public Policy, Georgia Institute of Technology, visited FEEM.

The purpose of the visit was to advise the FEEM academic staff on the

development of a new Master’s study program “Public Policy Analysis”

and its implementation at RTU in the academic year 2017/2018. At the

same time Julia E. Melkers conducted a series of lectures on public man-

agement data array analysis methods and means and participated in pre-

paring an application for the ESF project “Human and social capital for-

mation for research, development and innovation in RIS3 areas speciali-

zation”.

The best Master’s papers on health care were recently selected at the

Austrian Health Congress. The prestigious Health Research Award for

applied research was presented to two MCI graduates from the Interna-

tional Health & Social Management Master’s program: Both Raphaela

Stadelmann and Anna Oberhofer each successfully won an award in one

of the four categories for the Health Research Award.

Rector Ilshat Gafurov and involved parties discussed plans for present

and future repair works and refurbishments.

Restoration of the former military hospital (now Kazan University Clinic)

was talked about on June 4th. The hospital is a historical heritage site, so

special treatment and approvals are in order. The nearest building to the

Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology is planned for both lecture

rooms and labs. The works on cost projections and engineering blue-

prints will start after property certificates arrive from the federal author-

ities.

5-6 of June 2016 was held the first training on how to use emotional

intelligence in business, which was attended by managers and owners of

various business sectors. The training program is based on the Yale

methodologies and was developed and implemented by a certified tutor

of emotional intelligence (European Association of Cultural and Emotion-

ally Intelligent Projects) - Alexandra Egorushkina.

Group 14.2-320 - the winner of the competition "The Best Academic

Group of Year of KFU" among younger courses! For three years of

group of our institute receive this rank, the new group of year became

the successor of this good tradition! Congratulate!

Between 23. of June and 27. of June, the first enrollment phase of stu-

dents to the first year of Undergraduate studies was organized.

At the undergraduate level at this Institution, high school graduates had

the choice of enrolling in 13 faculties and 15 study programs,

After its competition, University of Donja Gorica is proud to point out

that the enrollment has exceeded expectations. In fact, compared to last

year's demand, it has increased by 30%.

Pioneering new major within the Mechatronics Bachelor’s program in

close cooperation with the Innsbruck Medical University.

The diagnosis and treatment of diseases increasingly depends on complex

technologies. This trend will continue to accelerate. Against this back-

ground, the Entrepreneurial School® will be offering a new Medical Engi-

neering major for its Mechatronics Bachelor’s program, which has been

successfully taught at MCI Management Center Innsbruck since 2008.

Lviv Business School of UCU held its first ever training program for

those who through their hard daily work prove that women can be

leaders. The program «Success. Leadership. Inspiration» was led by ex-

perts from the USA and Ukraine under the unofficial slogan «Beauty is

not perfection. Beauty is imperfection. Beauty is what makes you differ-

ent» coined by Yaryna Kliuchkovska, Director of GROU Communica-

tions Agency.

EFMD would like to warmly congratulate Católica Porto Business

School, Universidade Católica Portuguesa and ESSCA École de Manage-

ment which have just been awarded EQUIS accreditation.

This takes the number of accredited schools to 163 across 40 countries.

Estonian Business School (EBS), the only educational institution of its

kind in the country, has announced that its English-language Bachelor’s-

level International Business Administration study programme has be-

come the first in Estonia to receive EPAS accreditation – among the

highest-level recognition business schools can receive.

Many congratulations to BI Norwegian Business School, Henley Business

School, HEC Paris (in partnership with FFI), Sberbank Corporate Univer-

sity and Grenoble Ecole de Management, which have been recently certi-

fied by EOCCS, establishing the community of EOCCS Certified online

EFMD and Solvay Brussels School of Economics & Management, Universi-

té Libre de Bruxelles, are pleased to announce that the registration for

the first PhD and DBA in Management Job Fair is now open.

The Job Fair is designed as a 2-day event where recruiters from global

research-active or doctorate in Management granting universities or

schools meet job-seeking new PhD candidates in all areas of Manage-

ment: Accounting, Finance, Information Management, Management

(Organisation), Managerial Economics, Marketing and Operations Man-

agement.

Rihards Ģederts, 3rd year student of Real Estate Management Mater’s

study program applied for the professional internship program in the

United States (U.S.) of Baltic American Freedom Foundation (BAFF).

After going through the application contest and the interview process he

was accepted in the program which enabled him to receive scholarship

and internship placement at a U.S. company. With the help and coordi-

nation from BAFF he was able to find his internship placement in New

York City.

MIM-Kyiv, the first school in Ukraine which launched the DBA program

in Ukraine and has granted its DBA degree. In such a way MIM-Kyiv has

been accomplishing a multifaceted task of developing potential faculty,

bringing about national business research, and even disrupting the nation-

al research scene.
