TRANSCRIPT
When emergencies occur it is difficult to remember pertinent information.
Please, prepare ahead by doing some of the following:
Have phone numbers on your cell phone or listed in your wallet.
Preacher’s cell phone number is 574 870-4990
Retain a list of medications on your person.
Know in advance who you can call to get you to the hospital/doctor.
Keep a list of emergency numbers & health issues on your refrigerator door.
Have your insurance information readily available.
Create a Living Will with your health care directives.
Enable a Power of Attorney to have access to your needs if you are rendered unable.
Complete your Estate Plan.
Document who your doctor and lawyer are.
Provide someone you trust with information on how to access your locked house.
Think about getting a medic-alert type of system.
Formulate if needed, which nursing home you would desire.
Complete funeral arrangements.
When entering the hospital or nursing home, contact the preacher at 574 870-4990.
When being dismissed from either facility, contact the preacher at 574 870-4990. Many times I have driven to Lafayette or Indianapolis only to find the person has been dis-
missed. You can help me out in this by informing me of admittance and dismissal from facili-
ties.

There has been several things happening this summer with our students, which has kept us busy and on our toes! From weeklong mission trips, to day trips to Indy, to fun events like water night, we have been learning and serving Jesus while having fun. But the big thing is, we could not have done any of this without you! So the Student Ministries would like to say THANK YOU! Thank you for all your support, both financially and spiritually. Thank you for supporting us as we grow in our faith and help spread the love of Jesus into the world. Thank you for donating to us in our fundraisers. Thank you for keeping us in your prayers. The fun that we get to have is because of your hard work, so we thank you.

THANK YOU NOTES
A Big Thank You I am so grateful to the Lord and the surgeon for repair-ing my shoulder and to so many of you at MCC. For Rev. Chris for spending time with my son during my surgery. To Shirley Weidner, Nancy Krintz, Jim Milligan and George Graves for working around the church and Memorial Garden. For Huddy for checking on Centar-bor for me during my absence. I appreciate all your nice cards, phone calls and visits. Gratefully, Hildegard Haines I wanted to thank everyone for their cards, prayers and good wishes that I would have a good outcome when I had my surgery. God must have heard everybody and has let me stay on this earth a while longer. Thank you Rev. Chris for your visits and for my family looking after me. In Christian Love, Jan Ray We would like to thank everyone for the cards & prayers that were sent to us when my sister Rethel Stevens passed away. We are so fortunate to belong to such a caring church family. Sincerely, Jan & Leona Ray Dear Monticello Christian Church, We are so thankful that the door is still open for Week-day Religious Education (WRE) in the White County public schools. Some of the students have never had the opportu-nity to hear of a loving heavenly Father and Savior. Many of the families today are in a sad condition with seemingly no hope ahead. We pray that the seeds of salvation will be planted in the fertile soil of young hearts to grow in God’s timing. Thank you for helping this to happen. Your contribu-tion of $700 will aid WRE in sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with fourth grade students of White County. Please pray for our students—that they will be receptive to the Word, our teacher Cheri—that she will see them for who they are in God, and for our Board—that we will make wise decisions for God’s kingdom and His Glory. God bless you. Sincerely, Martha Winger, WRE Board Treasurer
Cliff and I had a program at White Oak Health on July 4th. After the program we went in to visit Larry Hundley, knowing Larry had entered the facility on the 3rd. We had a wonderful visit. Just after we prayed together , Larry shared some deep Christian love with us about him and Jesus. After we parted Cliff and I shared our hearts about how we felt as still being Larry’s Elders. Our Lord is so awesome! Knowing we are not at MCC or in the roll as Elders Cliff and I know the Christian love we have for all our Chris-tian brothers and sisters at MCC. Just think if that much love wells up in us now on this earth how much greater when we meet in Heaven! A great joy to have been a caretaker of MCC’s Family’s Spiritual Life. The Love of God is in us All. Keeping you in our prayers, Cliff and Donna Martin
