4.30pm | To welcome you to the Moorings Hotel meet our manager in Neptune’s Restaurant for further information about the days ahead and meet Eric MacKenzie who will be providing details of our murder mystery and new year’s day whisky tasting and quiz.

7pm | Canapes are served in our Neptune’s restaurant followed by dinner in our

Caledonian Function Suite and live entertainment from Eriskay Lilt.

Aonach Mor Mountain Gondola

Nevis Range is set next to Britain’s highest mountain Ben Nevis, and is just 7 miles out of Fort William’s Town centre. Nevis Range is also home to Scotland’s only

mountain gondola, which travels up to a height of 2150ft to the slopes of Aonach Mhor. At the top you will be able to dine in their café and bar and experience some spectacular views over Fort William.

Treasures of the Earth

Treasures of the Earth is located 1 mile out of Banavie, in the village Corpach. It is set in what used to be an old Catholic Church and Church Manse, but was turned into a showcase of crystals, minerals, gemstone and fossils in March 1992.

TheExhibitioncoversamagnificent6000sqfeetandtheinsidehasbeendesignedto represent caves and Caverns to add to the authentic experience. The wonderful collection of Crystals, gemstones, minerals and Fossils are from all over the world and the exhibition is the only one of its kind in Scotland. Open from 11am until 3pm.

7.30pm | Our Hogmanay Gala Dinner will commence in our Caledonian Function Suite with live entertainment from Brocken Spectre and our very own Highland Piper.

1st January 2012 8am - 10.30am | Breakfast is served with a ‘hair of the dog’ for those with ‘sorry

heids’.

1pm - 3pm | Our buffet lunch will be served in our Caledonian Function Suite with live entertainment from Wonderland.

3pm | Whisky tasting and a quiz will take place in our Mariners Wine Bar with prizes and murder mystery revealed.

7pm - 9pm | Our Dinner buffet is served in our Caledonian Function Suite with live

entertainment from International Ceilidh Collective.
