Greetings to all members and co-workers, Don't forget... The Crab Feast is scheduled for October 19th and tickets go on sale August 1st. They are $30.00 for all you can eat. The WOTM are still having a Block Party fundraiser, which goes to benefit the Nursing Scholarship at RCC. Donations are $2.00. Please see Faye Hall or any WOTM officer for more information. This is really a good cause that helps the local community. Cheryl Fisher will be doing a pound auction on Tuesday, Sept. 3rd at the Chapter Meeting at 7:00pm. Don't forget to bring a wrapped gift weighing a pound or more to be auctioned off. It's a great fundraiser with lots of fun. Please join us. I will be doing a potato bar for the WOTM Queen of Hearts Dinner on September 5th, with all the fixings. The cost will be $6.00. From 5 to 7. The WOTM will be doing a cake walk at the Family Picnic held on Saturday, Sept. 14. We are looking for volunteers to bring cakes for the cake walk. Any help you can give us will be greatly appreciated. Hope to see you there. The WOTM are also having an Ice Cream Social for Sunday, September 29th starting at 3:00 pm, the cost will be $6.00. We will also be playing LRC(left, right, center) for a chance to win a $25.00 gift card to Walmart, to be given to the winner. It should be a fun time, hope to see you there. We are always looking for ways to raise money, so please let us know of any ideas you may have to help the WOTM, ALL IDEAS AND THOUGHTS ARE WELCOME. Please come and join us at the WOTM meetings held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays @ 7pm. We would love to see you there. Until next month……..Thank you so much, Cindy Headley Senior Regent Callao WOTM (804) 313-0968 (Text Preferred)

Robert T: Can I go to the bathroom? Teacher: Only if you can say

the alphabet Boy: OK abcdefghijklmnoqrstuvwxyz Teacher:

Where's the p? Robert T: "Half way down my leg!

Glenn comes home from his first day of school, and his mother

asks, “What did you learn today?”

“Not enough,” Glenn replies. “They said I have to go back

tomorrow.”

Little Craig's Chemistry teacher wanted to teach his class a lesson

about the evils of liquor, so he set up an experiment that involved

a glass of water, a glass of whiskey, and two worms. "Now, class.

Observe what happens to the two worms," said the professor

putting the first worm in the glass of water. The worm in the water

moved about, twisting and seemingly unharmed. He then

dropped the second worm in the whiskey glass. It writhed in pain

for a moment, then quickly sank to the bottom and died. "Now

kids, what lesson can we derive from this experiment?" he asked.

Little Craig raised his hand and wisely responded, "Drink whiskey

and you won't get worms!"

Shoparoo

MooseHeart Fundraiser - SHOPAROO

It’s simple! Collect receipts from your everyday purchases, scan, earn money for

our MooseHeart School. Look for the MooseHeart - Shoparoo box at the Callao

Moose Lodge and drop off your receipts. Volunteers will scan them for you.

Please support MooseHeart.

Roo Points - Snap pictures of receipts from any store, big or small, that primarily sell food, health or beauty items to earn Roo Points (cash donations) for MooseHeart. Whether you're shopping at a supercenter, dollar store, or local convenience store - it doesn't matter where you shop or what items you buy - Shoparoo will make a cash donation for every qualifying receipt!

Sweepstakes Entries - Snap pictures of all your other receipts to earn entries for MooseHeart into Shoparoo's $1,000 monthly sweepstakes and $15,000 yearly sweepstakes! Each receipt counts as an entry into both monthly and yearly sweepstakes. The more receipts we submit, the greater chance MooseHeart has of winning.

Win Thousands in Our Sweepstakes –Every month Shoparoo will be drawing one lucky school to win Shoparoo's $1,000 sweepstakes, as well as four schools at the end of the year to win up to $15,000! To enter your school into all sweepstakes, simply submit receipts from restaurants and non-grocery retailers.
