248 5” x 7” platinum photographic prints of views of Louisiana architecture, made ca 1890-1906
by Morgan Whitney (1869-1913). Whitney was a member of a prominent New Orleans banking
family and an accomplished amateur photographer. He was also a musician and an art collector.
His collection of carved jade is in the New Orleans Museum of Art.

Photographs were given by Mrs. Arthur F. Morris to Tulane in 1950 in memory of her sister Emma
Walton Glenny.
