Thanks & Gratitude

~Dear Faith Village family, Deanne and I would like to thank everyone

for all the kind notes, cards, visits, and love you have shown our

family following the loss of my father recently. It is times like

these that we need to lean on each other and take comfort in the

Chris, Deanne, Kayla, & Kristy Holcomb

~To the Faith Village Church of Christ, Thank you for your continuous

support and prayers for me! In 118 days I will leave for the Philippines

and one of the main reasons I get to go is because of all of you. The

Lord has truly blessed me with a wonderful church family!

I love you all! Erin Faurie (Matt. 28:19)

~Dear Brothers & Sisters, Once again we want to express our gratitude

for the wonderful blessing you have bestowed on us by the grace of

God. Thank you so much for the additional $5,700.00 you have sent to

help us in our time of need. We are slowly repairing our facilities and

helping all we can in the community as well. You certainly have lifted us

up and we dearly appreciate it. We have been concentrating on fixing

our auditorium at church to the neglect of our annex building. We had

much less damage there, but we do have roof damage and some broken

brickwork to attend to after the auditorium is finished. We also will be

repairing the roofs on the Medina Children’s Home box and on our

outside utility building. God Bless you all for the wonderful work you do.

In Christian love, Gary Thompson, Minister, Ingleside Church of Christ

Whatever our hands touch, we leave heart prints, on walls, furniture, door knobs, dishes, books and each other. As we touch, we leave our identity. O God, wherever I go each day, help me to leave heart prints; heart prints of compassion, of understanding and love, heart prints of kindness and genuine concern. May my heart touch a lonely neighbor, a troubled daughter, or an anxious wife, a dying or suffering aged - or maybe a child with no one to guide their way. Lord, send me out today to leave heart prints. And if someone should say, “I felt your touch,” may that one sense Your love by the touch, You touched through me.

~ ~ ~ Beloved brothers & sisters in Christ, may I sincerely testify, I’ve felt the Master’s touch in every way, through your comforting words, offers of help, promises of prayers, hugs, and in every expression of love & kindness. Wanona Harper
