On Friday night, special guest Steve Horn gave a Gospel presentation that resulted in 41 men and boys making decisions for Christ. For emulating Christ-like characteristics of a Royal Ambassador, Luke Sims was awarded the “Crusader of the Year 2014” award for the state.
For outstanding leadership for Royal Ambassadors, Jeff Rytlewski was honored as “RA Leader of the Year” for the state.
Five boys made decisions for Christ during the evening presentation.
Through the missionaries speaking and the personal challenges of the competitions, the RA's learned how to live their motto: WE ARE AMBASSADORS FOR CHRIST - 2 Cor . 5:20. Please pray for the lives of the RA boys to be changed positively, to be mission minded, and to become authentic Christ-like men.

Welcome to worship this morning at First Baptist Church. People have been praying this week for some-thing very significant to happen in our worship ser-vices today. I pray that you open yourself to all that God would speak to your heart today. For those who are our guests, we count it a great honor that God would lead you to worship with us. Please take a mo-ment to complete the guest registra-tion card. This card will be of tremen-dous help to us as we seek to get to know you and to minister to the needs of your family. Fill out that card and bring it to the Information Desk locat-ed in the lobby where we have a spe-cial gift waiting for you.
This morning we are continuing our Easter series called, “My Journey to Easter.” This week we will look at East-er through the subject of repentance. As we remember Jesus’ sacrifice for our sin, we must remember that his sacrifice was for our sin. Ultimately, this should lead all of us to authentic repentance.
I hope that you have made your plans to be with us for our Easter Week Ser-vices. In addition to the usual Sunday morning services, we will have a Maundy Thursday service and a Good Friday Service. Both of these addition-al worship experiences will begin at 7:00 p.m.
Finally, please remember our missions team serving in the Philippines this week.
From Our Pastor Thank You For Coming If you are our guest, we have a special gift for you after today’s service. So that we can get to know you better, please fill out both sides of this tear-off section and bring it to the Information Center near the col-umns. We have a gift bag ready for you.

April 6, 2014 Sermon Notes
My Journey to Easter Through Repentance Luke 13:1-9
Definition of Repentance—literally speaking “to have a _______________________”
Repentance is absolutely __________________________ for salvation.
• Repentance is the heart of John the Baptist’s message—Mark 1:15 • Repentance is the heart of Jesus’ message—Luke 13:5, Matthew 4:17 • Repentance is the message of the resurrection—Acts 2:38, 3:19 • Repentance is the message of Paul—Acts 26:20, 17:30
Repentance is absolutely __________________ in the life of one who has been saved. (1) Repentance is not the same as feeling ____________________ about your sin. (2) Repentance is not the same as _____________________. (3) Repentance is not the same as _______________________.
Repentance is the _________________________ activity of our relationship with God. Now is the window of __________________________ for repentance.
