A Letter from Bridges Holland Because of personal and health

concerns I am resigning my position as elder. This is a decision I made about 6 months ago, but if you recall we were in the midst of a rather difficult Youth Minister search and we as an Eldership wanted to make sure this congregation found not a good Youth Minister, but an outstanding Youth Minister. I believe we have. I want to thank each of you for the privilege of serving and hope that I have in some small way done something good for this congregation. I want to make it perfectly clear that I have nothing but the utmost respect, admiration, and complete loyalty to each of these men as thy continue to serve as not only yours, but now my elders. I have been extremely fortunate and blessed to have served alongside some of the finest men I have ever known, not only these 3 men but also those who have served as previous elders. Again, thank you for the privilege.

TEACHER’S RESOURCE ROOM GIVING TREE

We are in the process of organizing a Teacher’s Resource Room, which will be located in the baptistry room. There is a Giving Tree located on the door to the

baptistry (door in the hallway). If you see something listed you’d like to donate, just

pluck the apple off and bring the item back and put it in the Resource Room. Some

examples of what we need include: pencils, glue, construction paper, paper clips, scissors, etc. Thank you so much for your donation!!

CYC Those going to CYC need to give their money to Shelia or Wesley as soon as possible. The

cost is $40 per person. Thanks!

GOOD NEWS Mylah Gonzalez placed 1st in floor and

vault, 5th overall, in her gymnastics competition in St. Louis.

ELDERS & DEACONS MEETING The meeting will be next Sunday

morning, February 3rd, at 8:00am.

VISION SUNDAY This is important as it shares the good works your contributions to the Lord’s

work will be doing in 2019.

LADIES’ NIGHT COMMITTEE If you would like to help with Ladies’ Night,

please sign up for a committee on the volunteer table.

BENTON YOUTH NIGHT The teens will be going to the Area Wide

Teen Devo tonight at Benton. Please be at the building at 5:00pm. Food will be

provided.

KETCHUM’S AWAY Josh is away with his family preaching this

weekend in Tennessee.
