    CHAPTER ONE- MORRIGANS THREE FORMS

    The dark woodland scene grows to fill the screen as thelittle silhouette of Morrigan walks into view.

    Suddenly in the background there are flashes of a war to

    come, Morrigan holds her head with each flash.

    She rights herself before transforming into a crow andflying towards the camera

    In the wake of the falling feathers. The title 'Morrigan'grows out of Celtic knots and fades away.

    A stream flows in as the camera ZOOMS OUT to reveal the backof an old woman (Morrigan). The sound of marching men heardin the background.

    Morrigan turns, revealing purely black eyes. ZOOM into the

    blackness, with the sound of a crow shriek and rustlingfeathers and the roars of men at war.

    ZOOMING OUT of Morrigan's crow plumage reveals the deadstrewn across a battlefield and a slowly setting sun. Shewatches as ghostly crows rise from the bodies and fly intothe sunset.

    Morrigan takes off and the CAMERA TRACKS her as she fliesinto the woodland. After weaving for a moment through thewind and leaves, she drops in to land and turns into abeautiful young lady. Continuing on foot.

    CHAPTER TWO- MORRIGAN MEETS HER TRUE LOVE

    The weather turns progressively colder and windier, andMorrigan hugs herself to keep warm when a light somewheredeeper in the forest catches her eye

    Approaching the light, it is revealed to be the fire of atravelling warrior. He catches sight of Morrigan and invitesher to sit by the fire.

    She stays hidden for a moment before edging out of hiding towarm her hands. Leaves fall OBSCURING CAMERA

    Leaves continue falling, revealing a sapling tree growing tofull size and passing through the seasons. Summer, Autumn,Winter. In the spring the warrior and Morrigan appear frombehind the tree clearly in love.

    Suddenly the flashes of the future occur. Morrigan sees herwarrior get attacked and killed, a sword in his back.

    CHAPTER 3- CALLED TO WAR

    Rising from the distance is a small army of men. The warriormakes to leave with them. Morrigan tugs his arm back. But heseems to assure her before following after the small army

    Picking up a shield and sword, the warrior jumps aboard ahorse drawn chariot and takes off

    Morrigan stands in shock for a moment or two beforetransforming into a crow and pursuing him. She flies overhills following the chariot and other men.

    The battlefield arises next to a river and woodland, the

    enemy camp can be seen in the distance.

    CHAPTER FOUR- TRYING TO SAVE HIM

    Morrigan lands transforming into the old hag, so as not tobe recognized. She watches as her warrior puts down hisweaponry and see's an opportunity

    Morrigan sneaks over stealing the weaponry and makes a breakfor the nearby woodland. Not noticing shadows of men hiddenwithin.

    The warrior chases Morrigan to reclaim his weapons when theshadows jump out, revealing themselves to be enemybarbarians and surrounding the warrior.

    The enemies draw back their weapons, Morrigan shrieksturning into a crow and flying away distraught. And thenoise of an axe coming down can be heard.

    The scouts run away having been frightened by Morrigansscream. The axe sits in the ground close to the warrior. Hesits up almost completely unharmed.

    The warrior staggers away finding his way to a stream. Hesees an old woman holding his weapons and hears her cryingthere

    CHAPTER FIVE- THE WARRIOR DIES

    Morrigan turns around and spots her warrior in perfecthealth. She gets to her feet returning to her beautiful selfturning to address him properly.

    The warrior steps back in shock. Behind him, to the horrorof Morrigan, appears an enemy barbarian who (likeMorrigan's premonition) puts his sword through the warriorsback.

    Morrigan cries out and all turns to red. Morrigans earlierpremonitions replay with a vivid soundscape of war, yellingand battle.

    CHAPTER SIX- VALLEY OF THE DEAD

    Morrigan kneels before her warriors body before raising herarms.

    In a WIDE SHOT ghostly crows rise from the dead and spiralupward into the sky.

    The last to materialize is the warriors crow which sitsstaring at Morrigan for a short time.

    Morrigan gently reaches for it, but the crow jumps back,squawks and takes flight after the others that went beforehim.

    So Morrigan sits by the river, washing her warriors weaponsand uniform until she turns into the old hag. The seasons inthe forest changing around her as years pass

    At the sound of approaching footsteps the old hag turns withher black eyes and with a squawk, the crow takes flight.
