Mortar for Floor super 181
Technical Data:
Tensile strength after 28 days approx. 1.2 MPa
Flexural strength after 28 days approx. 7 MPa
Compressive strength after 28 days approx. 20 MPa
Free shrinkage 0.15%
Pot life Up to two hours
Packaging: 25 Kg. paper bags, 30 ton in bulk
Consumption: approx. 1.4 kg /m2 in 1 mm thickness
Composition: gray or white cement, various polymeric promoters and additives.
Substrate: suitable for use on stabilized sand or aggregate (terrazzo
Note:In application on aggregate (terrazzo), it is recommended to stabilize and compact the cement, in order to prevent sinking.
Application:• Clean tile from dust, dirt and oils.
• Pour 5-6 liters of water into a mixing container. Slowly add the entire 25 Kg . contents of the bag, while
mixing in a mixer to obtain a unified mixture. Wait for 3 minutes and mix again.
Water quantities could vary, despite the stated above, due to changes of weather and the like.
In any event, the appropriate workability level ought to be achieved.
• Apply a layer of 181 Flooring Mortar in thickness of 20-40 mm. by means of a trowel (Masterina),
in order to spread the mortar evenly on the entire surface intended for adhesion.

• Apply a layer of No.1 /109/114/116/132 type ceramic adhesive to the back of each tile with a trowel,
while compressing the adhesive on the back of the tile in thickness of at least 3 mm.
• The tile should be attached on the mortar layer, while rotating and moving it around until it is placed in
its desirable location, according to the "wet on wet" method.
• It is possible to apply a layer of 181 Flooring Mortar on the tile in thickness of Approx. 3 mm. and wait
for drying for about 24 hours. Flooring should be executed according to the "dry on wet" method.
It can be compacted by means of a rubber hammer.
• Ensure that there is full contact between the tile and mortar and the substrate.
• Upon completion of the flooring, residues of mortar should be removed from the joints by means
of a sharp tool, in order to create a large unified surface for the application of the joint filler.
• Leave mortar joints open, as per the requirement of the Standard, and according to the planner's
requirements.
Precautions:• 181 Flooring Mortar should not be applied in surface temperatures below 5ºC or above 35ºC.
• Do not add water to a drying mixture.
• Do not apply 181 Flooring Mortar on wet sand, whose humidity exceeds 6%.
• Do not cure on a surface that was floored.
Cleaning: Tools and hands with running water for as long as the material is fresh.
Storage: In its original package in a shaded and dry location.
Shelf Life: Up to 6 months from the production date
