Complete oil spill recovery systems including handling gear, crane and pump system.

Mos sweeper 50 installed on deck in NOFO modus.

MOS Sweeper system operates in waves up to 5 meters.

MOS SWEEPEROil spills and potentially large-scale environmental disasters represent a daily challenge for the oil & gas- and shipping indus-try worldwide. The MOS Sweeper technology consists of many well-tested principles from maritime industries. The V-shaped MOS Sweeper is designed to be operated from a single vessel like a traditional fish trawl. Towing with a speed of 4.5 knots, the design of the MOS Sweeper uses the law of hydrodynamics to recover the oil more efficiently and on nature’s terms. MOS Sweeper has proven its strong capabilities in harsh weather with high waves and strong currents.

R&D / PRODUCTIONEgersund Group is one of the world’s leading producers of equipment such as pelagic trawls and fish farming nets for the fisheries and fish farming industry. The modern production facility is located in Egersund, Norway, strategically situated by the North Sea. In house we have experienced and dedicated people ready to provide you with MOS Sweeper systems and after market services.

CONCEPT DEVELOPED IN CLOSE COOPERATION WITH

As a result of a successful development project betweenEgersund Group as and NOFO (Norwegian Clean Seas Association For Operation Companies). the MOS Sweeper is a uniquely designed V-shape for-mation of multiple barriers. This innovative single vessel oil spill recovery system with a towing speed up to 4.5 knots makes the laws of hydrodynamics to the recovery of oil more efficiently and on nature’s terms.

The MOS Sweeper ranges in size from 50 m to 15 m and has proven its strong capabilities in harsh weather and is operational in strong ocean currents and wave heights from 3-5 m.

The MOS Sweeper is a complete single vessel oil containment and recovery system, which can chase, collect and pump oil during operation from the ocean back to the towing vessel. This is achieved by a direct pump in the rear end of the sweeper system. MOS Sweeper is designed with focus on HSE and safe operations for crew, vessel and nature. Both permanent and plug & play solutions are available. The handling / transfer system is designed for outmost safe deck operations.

Dependent on size the MOS Sweeper range can be operated from supply- or offshore supply vessels, fishing vessels, coast guard

vessels and stand-by vessels. They can also be deployed and in use within less than 30 minutes which ensures rapid response in case of emergency.

We would very much like the opportunity to discuss the MOS Sweeper system with you in more detail and we look forward to speaking to you in the very near future.
