This is the 2 nd most common shrub in the Az. Uplands Division of the Sonoran desert reaching a height of 4’ & found growing on slopes, flats & in washes. Stems, which are easily broken, exude a resin/gum which is chewed by NaHve Americans & burned as incense in early missions. A nice landscape plant.
