962/965 Cosmotop Spin Hobbyists Premium Paintbrushes

The Delta Premium range of brushes have been produced for us by one of the highest quality artists’ paintbrush manufacturers in Nuremberg, Germany, who have been making high quality paintbrushes since the 19

th century. They come complete with an ergonomically designed

hexagonal formed handle, to make painting with smaller sized brushes a pleasure. Each brush is meticulously finished – handles are stained red, lacquered and polished for a first class presentation, while the brass ferrules are nickel plated, for an attractive appearance combined with durability and resistance to corrosion. The fibres employed are golden (ie synthetic) sable (cosmotop-spin) for high paint absorption and a smooth spring-like action, combined with high resistance to wear. 982/985 Kolinsky Red Sable Paintbrushes

Over the years, we have received many requests for an ultra premium range of genuine red sable modellers' paintbrushes. Consequently, I am delighted to announce the launch of the latest addition to the Delta modellers'

paintbrush line – the 982 and 985 series of genuine kolinsky red sable paintbrushes. These are produced by the same German manufacturer who produces the Delta 962 and 965 series paintbrushes, so I am sure that the quality of these brushes will speak for themselves. These brushes are ideal for fine detail work, and wherever the finest finish is desired. They feature the popular hexagonal handles of the 962/5 series brushes, with a high gloss green/grey lacquer finish, and chrome-plated brass ferrules. All brushes are individually bar-coded. As we have received many requests from modellers for small size brushes, a 20/0 size round brush has been specially produced. Kolinsky red sable fibres are the noblest and most precious brush fibres available, being sourced from the winter tail hairs of the Siberian sable, 'mustela sibirica'. They give the paintbrush the ability to hold more paint on the brush with a longer drying time. In addition, kolinsky red sable fibres have greater, more lively elasticity than cheaper fibres, and regain their shape more quickly once paint has been applied. These advantages give the modeller much greater and more precise control in the fine application of paint. A countertop stand to display brushes is provided with opening orders for full brush packages, or individual hangsell packaging is available.
