    Prsuppos franco-franais :

The train is the medium of the artwork(which might be a performance). Weprefer to call it an experience. The book is the medium of the

retransmission of this experience. So it may be unreadable.

    Prendre position

My experience is separated fromits representation. To look at therepresentation of my experience wouldmake you spectator of my experience. We would prefer you as an actor of it,because the separation between life and

its representation is one the medium ofthe power exerced on us.

We look at the world as we look at arts :through screens, without any power on it.What we want to do is to make us peopleactors of the aesthetic experiences (assuch as our lives).

The artists are social actors. We think that we must not represent theworld and its events, wed better live it.

    Thats why producing and showing

artworks such as pictures, or sculpturalforms, seem impossible (and we still doit).

The pictures hereare documentsof anaesthetic and common experience ofcrossing landscapes trough time and

space : translating that an experience ofbanality is possible.

The point of it was maybe to tell that you just have to look a bit differently at thethings you do.

Public art is invisible means that if youlook at the common things people do asyou look at art (in search of purpose), ifyou look at banality as you would lookat extraordinary things, you will find themost popular and non-representative arteverywhere.

This trip, which meant a lot to us, about mee-ting and exchanges, opened a new way in

    our positions :

Protomarxism is an economical, politicaland social point of view, which includes thegift as a normal way to get things, the free-

dom of objects (a political position about pos-session), and the collectivist property as theonly possibility to get through the coercitionthat the everyday life objects exerce on us.

Protomarxism in arts is about creatingalternative production ways that include theworker and the watcher into the objects. It is

also about the gift and the game as mannersto get through artworks (to get distance withthings). Finally protomarxism claims thateveryone could be an artist (this would notbe separated from life).
