To run Reports on KMS:

Most reports require a Level 2 login. You can request this login from the Security Contact(s) at your school. To obtain Security Contact names and contact information, go to KMS (login not required) and click on the Contact a College link on the left side of screen.

This window will display. Scroll down to find the Security Contact(s) for your school.

Once you are logged into KMS, go to the Reports & Research page. (Click the ‘Reports & Research’ tab.)

Using the AP15– Homeland Security Programs Master List report as an example, on the Reports & Research page click

on KMS Reports.

Expand the report selection by clicking on the + icon next to Approved Programs.

Expand the report selection again by clicking on the + icon next to Approved Programs.

Then select Homeland Security Programs Master List – AP15.

After selecting your report, the report name and description will appear on the right of your screen.

Note: The Source of the data and Access required to view the report is displayed.

Source: MIS – This report is run from the Data Center database.

DW – This report is run from the Data Warehouse database.

Access level required for report:

L1 - Level 1

L2 - Level 2

PR - President

UI - Unemployment Insurance

VA - Vice President of Administrative Services

Click View Report.

This report provides a summary of the Total Number of Homeland Security Approved Programs. The option to view

either all programs that are in Homeland Security or all programs not in Homeland Security is available at the bottom of

this report. Double-clicking the appropriate link will display the detailed report information.

Approved Programs Not in Homeland Security

You can also export the report into various file formats by using the Export icon.

Click on the icon and the Export the Report window will display.

Select the file format you prefer (i.e. PDF or Excel) from the dropdown list and click OK.

Select a location and name for the file and click Save and then OK.
