PLANT LAYOUT OF MOTHER DAIRY:
A state-of-the-art commercial Dairy Plant ,
established in the year 1996 at NDRI, Karnal
installed on turnkey basis by NDDB The Plant has been designed to handle60,000 liters of milk per day and is
presentlyrunning in full capacity Liquid Milk Processing/Packaging (Capacity
60000 LPD).
Ice-Cream Manufacture (Capacity 12000 LPD)
Ghee Manufacturing (Capacity 800 kg per day)

QUALITY CONTROL:
Milk is tested for adulterations and quality at the time of collection
The temperature is judiciously maintained less than 4°C always
No contamination by human hands takes place, since processes are automated.
The trucks that deliver milk have specified guidelines
Travel time between collection and distribution points is always less than 36 hours to ensure milk freshness.
INNOVATIONS STRATEGIES:
‘Dietz Sugar Free’ icecream was launched which is suitable for diabetic patients, calorie conscious and containing high dietary fiber.
Fresh dairy product range includes: Kheer, Bottled Lassi (variants: Plain, mango and strawberry), Mishti Doi, Tadka Chach etc.
In the frozen category, Kulfi in traditional flavors viz., Rose, Pan and Rabri, Dollies in Raspberry & Guava chilly, and Dietz Sugar Free are the most recent product ranges.
EXPANSION STRATEGIES Diversification expansion of their business
in other cities and with the launch of new products eg. South India.
Offering coconut flavored milk and ice creams in south India.
Offering safal’s frozen peas and vegetables in south India.
