! ! Do you know a woman who gave her life for others? !Mother

Teresa was born in August 26th, 1910. !Before Mother Teresa

won the Nobel Peace Prize, she helped the poor and less

fortunate. Then she started the Missionaries Of Charity.

!Mother Teresa started in India and worked her way all across

the world, for example Africa. !Mother Teresa gave clothes,

food, and first aid. !Mother Teresa helped unwanted babies. !

She nursed them back to health. Then Mother Teresa helped

find homes for the unwanted babies. Mother Teresa fed the

poor and sick by going to different towns. Mother Teresa also

went to hospitals to feed the sick too. Finally Mother Teresa

was 87 years old when she died. She died on Friday,

September 5, 1997. Mother Teresa died of heart failure. !Do

you want her legacy to die with her or carry on?

Dear Mrs.G, . . October 8, 1979!

Mother Teresa saved my life when she came to my town in India. I was poor and sick and she found me a new home in India. Mother Teresa gave me a nice

home with the Lenker's. When I heard that Mother Teresa got the noble peace prize in 1979 I was very excited and felt like she deserved it. When she accepted

she said"I choose the poverty of our poor people. But I am grateful to receive (the Nobel) in the name of the hungry, the naked, the homeless, of the crippled, of the

blind, of the lepers, of all those people who feel unwanted, unloved, uncared-for throughout society, people that have become a burden to the society and are

shunned by everyone.". I know every word was true because she saved my life. I'm so glad that the woman that saved my life is getting the noble peace prize.!

!Opened her arms to the poor because she gave them love!

!Taught valuable lesson because she told them that they are the kids of god!

!Helped the sick and poor!

!Enough love goes around for everyone in the world!

!Realize what needed to be done in the world!

!Tule in love with her work because she was with people who needed more help than her!

!Enough workers for the charity work she started!

!Rescued babies who were unwanted!

!Enough time for everyone!

!Sister before a mother!

!And Mother Teresa died on September 5th 1997!
