WHAT IS MOTION???

In physics, motion is a change in position of an object with respect to time. Motion is typically described in terms of displacement, distance, velocity, acceleration, time and speed.

Types of motion

Simple harmonic motion Periodic motion Linear motion  Reciprocal motion Random motion  Brownian motion  Circular motion  Rotary motion  Curvilinear motion  Rotational motion Rolling motion  Oscillation

TYPES OF MOTION OF PARTICALS.....

Normally motion occurs in three states

Motion of particals in solids Motion of particals in

liquids Motion particals in gases

MOTION OF PARTICALS ARE OCCURED BY EXTERNAL FORCES

Gravitational force Centrifugal force Buoyant force Drag force Magnetic fields Electric fields

Buoyant Forces The behavior of an object

submerged in a fluid is governed by Archimedes' Principle. Archimedes (a greek mathematician) determined that a body which is completely or partially submerged in a fluid experiences an upward force called the Buoyant Force

LIGHT BEND DUE TO MOTION OF PARTICALS

The Tyndall effect, also known as Tyndall scattering, is light scattering by particles in a colloid or else particles in a very fine suspension. It is named after the 19th-century physicist John Tyndall.

TYNDALL EFFECT

Tyndall effect is used commercially to determine the size and density of particles in aerosols
