Case Study: AmeriPride / Aramark Delivery Vans
• Built on EPIC F-59 with 127kWh with Utilimaster and Morgan Olson
• 31 step vans deployed 2017-2019 across 5 depots
• 10-14 hour work days with 50 - 85 mile routes
• 1 location deploying 10 trucks needed major infrastructure upgrades. Several month delays resulted in trucks sitting idle for months
• Positive driver feedback but some range anxiety felt on longer routes - refreshed driver training to improve efficiency
• > 175,000 miles and counting, > 95% uptime
• EV Fleet expansion planned in 2020

Case Study: Google / Mountain View
Community Shuttles
• Built on EPIC E450 with 127kWh with Ameritrans
• 4 shuttles deployed in 2015, 2 additional deployed in 2016
• 13 mile loop, 30 stops, 5-6 loops per day per vehicle, 65-85 miles per day
• >300,000 miles, >18,000 loops >700,000 passengers
• Positive feedback from riders/residents of Mountain View

Case Study: Type A School Buses in Sacramento
• Built on EPIC E450 with Trans Tech
• 11 buses deployed in 2018/2019
• SMUD helped with infrastructure
• Formal driver and mechanic trainings at deployment
• Original configuration 86kWh not enough to service routes. Motiv added 5th battery to boost range. Upgraded buses are now on route.
• “Hill hold” and low speed noisemakers added based on driver feedback
• > 75,000 miles to date

Case Study: Type C School Buses in Southern California
• Built on EPIC F59 127kWh with Starcraft
• 21 buses deployed at nearly a dozen school districts
• Some school districts installed the wrong charge station – 1ph vs 3ph
• Formal driver and mechanic trainings at deployment
• >50,000 miles to date
