Why is it worth it to learn English ?

I've always known that being fluent in a foreign language is a key to success. It opens the door to the world and builds bridges between the people. It is truly a pathway to the future.

I started learning early in my childhood and I studied it very hard all through high school. The time and money I invested in it definitely paid off. I became an au pair, which is a live-in nanny, for a wonderful family in the USA. Thanks to knowing English so well I could communicate with them and get to know the true American culture from the inside. I also traveled across the states. I was living a dream and visited places known from the movies. Sunbathing in Miami, shopping in New York City or walking around Hollywood are only examples of the great adventures I could be a part of because of my language skills.

But there is more! I was offered a sponsorship in the American college and I graduated with the highest honors. Now, in addition to a great experience and connections, I also have a business administration degree and thus a competitive advantage at work place.

To sum up, learning English is the best gift you can give yourself. It's a gift of endless opportunities and benefits. Today you master the language - tomorrow you'll own the world ;)
