battery tipsBattery life depends on the network, signalstrength, temperature, features, andaccessories you use.

Always useMotorola Original batteriesand chargers. The warrantydoes not cover damagecaused by non-Motorola batteriesand/or chargers.

New batteries or batteries stored for along time may take more time tocharge.

When charging your battery, keep itnear room temperature.

When storing your battery, keep ituncharged in a cool, dark, dry place.

Never expose batteries totemperatures below -10C (14F) orabove 45C (113F). Always take your

phone with you when you leave yourvehicle.

It is normal for batteries to graduallywear down and require longer charging

times. If you notice a change in yourbattery life, it is probably time topurchase a new battery.

Contact your local recycling center for

proper battery disposal.Warning: Never dispose of batteries in a firebecause they may explode.

A Multimedia Messaging Service(MMS) message contains pages with

text and media objects (includingphotos, sounds, or video clips). You can sendthe multimedia message to otherMMS-capable phones, and to emailaddresses.

Find it: PressR > Create Message> New Multimedia Msg

1 Press keypad keys to enter text on thepage (for text entry information, seepage 36).

To insert a picture, sound, video clip,voice record, quick note, or contact infoon the page, pressa > Insert. Select the

file type and the file.

To insert another page, pressa > Insert> New Page. You can enter moretext and objects on the new page.

2 When you finish the message, pressa> Message Options to set message options(such as Subjectand Priority.

3 When you finish setting message options,

press the Done key.

Attached files are added to the end ofthe message. To open an attachment,select the file indicator/filename.

Bluetooth wireless

Your phone supports Bluetooth

wireless connections. You can connectyour phone with a Bluetooth headset orcar kit to make handsfree calls. You canconnect your phone with a phone orcomputer that supports Bluetoothconnections to exchange files.

Note: The use of wireless phones whiledriving may cause distraction. Discontinue acall if you cant concentrate on driving.

Additionally, the use of wireless devices andtheir accessories may be prohibited orrestricted in certain areas. Always obey thelaws and regulations on the use of these

products.For maximum Bluetooth security, youshould always connect Bluetooth devices in asafe, private environment.

1 On your phone, scroll to the object thatyou want to copy to the other device.

2 Pressa, then select:

3 Select a recognized device name, or[Look For Devices] to search for anunrecognized device where you want to

Note: Once you connect your phone to aBluetooth device, that device can start asimilar Bluetooth connection with your phone.

You can dial an entry in your phonebook byspeaking the entrys name, or dial any phonenumber by speaking its digits.

Tip: Speak numbers at a normal speed andvolume, pronouncing each digit distinctly.Avoid pausing between digits.
