Statue Visitation for the Consecrated Life
Parishioners are invited to receive the statue of Our Lady for one week and place her with flowers and candles in a prominent position in the home. Baptism To arrange for the baptism of your child/children you will need to con-tact the parish office on 01527 63096 or visit the parish website to find out when the next available Baptism Meeting is for you to at-tend. At this meeting you will be given the Baptism Form to take away with you for completion. Once completed please bring it with you to the parish office on a weekday morning between 10.15am—5pm (except Wednesdays) when one of the priests will be able to see you and book the date for baptism. Bap-tisms normally take place on a Sunday at 1pm in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. There is an administra-tive fee of £30 for Baptism which should be paid at the time of arranging the date.
Reflection for this week … We need ‘power from on high’ Were Jesus’ fears eased when he heard the Father was ‘well pleased’? He was empowered by the Holy Spirit to begin his mission: to bring to the world the Good News of god’s compassion, mercy and forgiveness for our sins. By daily dialogue about concerns and issues and by seeking ‘help from on high’.

Foodbank Manager (Redditch) Full Time 35 hrs per week Salary £19,500-£20,800 + Pension Contribution. The role of the Foodbank Manager is to oversee the operation of Redditch Foodbank, with concern for its strategic direction, operational efficiency and standards in accordance with The Trussell Trust model. Applicant must be a car driver and access to own vehicle, self-motivation and ability to work independently with minimum supervision, good organisational skills, ability to communicate effectively in formal and informal settings, ability to lead, motivate, train & support volunteers, confident user of email, word processing, spreadsheets & internet. Must be passionate about tackling poverty, deprivation & injustice, have a non-judgemental and positive attitude towards people who are in need, flexible approach to working hours, and willing to facilitate prayer for the clients of the Foodbank.
