PROJECT 365 ‘AKSHAY PATRA’ Akshay Patra, an

‘inexhaustible vessel’ During the Bhoodan

movement, Vinoba Bhave invited people to collect a fist full of grain to be shared with the poorest in the neighborhood

Today, Jyotsna Parmar created Akshay Patra, a.k.a. Project 365 for people to collect one rupee daily for a year in a recycled painted water bottle for the poor in their neighborhood.

“Lok Mitra” supports and strengthens individuals who have dedicated their lives to working for the people. Financially provide bare-

bones-living-expenses for 3 years.

Provide mentoring and value-based support throughout the process. Example:10-day orientations, week-long stay with mentors, daily journaling/reading, acts of kindness, monthly reporting, etc.
