Plan the video Create a storyboard (courtesy of Sandy Noles) Decide on what pictures you want.
• Create a word doc to record the copyright info. Find the music – Animoto has a great
collection, or you can import music files. Write the text. Gather all the elements in a file on your
computer.

Register in Animoto Animoto for Educators This account will give you unlimited video time. It will take a few days to get a confirmation for
this account. In the meantime… You can register, a second time, for a “basic”
account and begin immediately.
The “basic” account is only a 30 second video, but it’s enough to get started and familiar with the program.

pictures will load. You can load
• photos, • PPT slides converted to JPG,• videos.

free music.

*If you are going to post your trailer outside your school’s network, the music must be copyright free or purchased.

Add Text Click on the T and type your text.
• Be sure to include credits for the photos. Create a PPT slide w/ bibliographies. Convert slide to JPG and put at the end of your video.
• The music credit will be included automatically by Animoto at the end if you use the basic template.
For other templates, you will have to add a music bibliography slide.
You can rearrange the tiles.

Render Click on Produce Video button. Rendering screen. You can edit, change anything and
render, again.
