GENERAL OVERVIEW

MP Lifts is a multinational Spanish firm belonging to the MP Corporation, which

designs, manufactures, sells, installs and maintains lifts and escalators.

Born in 1965, the company has more than 50 years experience as an expert in Vertical

Transport. The success is based on a permanent innovation as well as on flexible and

direct dealings.

THE ROLE WE PLAY: A specialist providing engineering, special solutions, and

complete lifts to the most well-known brands, which are our customers as well as

competitors.

NO FIRST/SECOND-CLASS LIFTS: We have the same Q-control, raw materials,

factories and designs for all of our lifts, all over the word. No area difference.

lifts of the new NATO Headquarters, which is the most

emblematic project carried out by the architects SOM

(Skidmore Owings & Merrils), Assar and TJV BAM Alliance

ITER is the fifth most expensive project in the history, just after the Manhattan and Space Station

projects among others, the world’s largest experimental fusion facility, which will research the

viability of fusion energy.

MP Lifts designs, manufactures, installs and will maintain12 lifts, 2 of which have the capacity

for 160 people (12,000kg) to transport the Tritium for the TOKAMAC reactor.

ITER PROJECT

MP Lifts is designing the lifts (two years of special engineering) according to the ITER

environment and proceeds with magnetic field tests, electro magnetic field, radiation tests and

so on to ensure the compatibility of the lifts with the environment.

Skanska will be the future multi-disciplinary

research center based on the neutron source.

solutions for the 12 lifts which will be

manufactured and installed for this center, being

Upington, in the province of Northern Cape.

a capacity of 800kg, and additionally a platform, in the desert

environment, 45 km from Upington.

In 2009, MP manufactured and installed all of the vertical transport

(lifts and escalators) for the whole of line 1 of the Sevilla Metro.

52 escalators and 43 lifts in accordance with the specifications and

the client´s request.

MP managed the complete installation with no incidence and

In 2014, this UNESCO World Heritage site

inaugurated a lift aiming to improve the accesibility

for disabled persons to the Palace of Charles V.

MP has designed and manufactured this unique lift

where the panoramic cabin has been

manufactured without fixes to allow a full vision

from inside. UNESCO norms implied it was not

possible to touch the lift shaft within this historic

complex, which was a real challenge for MP.

MP has been awarded with this prestigious

project designed by the architect Zaha Hadid,

providing a total of 7 lifts for the new Port

Authority headquarters.

The project is a part of a complex urban

rehabilitation plan aiming to reinforce one of

the most important harbours in Europe.

CAIXAFORUM SEVILLA

SEVILLA, ESPAÑA

The prestigious Caixa Forum cultural center which receives over

2 million visitors per year and is a must for all art lovers, will also

open its doors in Seville. The project has been developed by

architect Guillermo Vázquez Consuegra.

This project signed by one of the most important

architects in Philippines, will have a hexagonal DNA

tower structure called “The Tree of Life” in its centre. MP

has developed innovative engineering solutions to fit

inside a circular panoramic lift which design is unique.

Sevilla Aquarium, opened in 2014, features three

MP passenger lifts and a platform to transport

sharks with a capacity of 4000kg.

The passenger lifts are completely integrated into

the site as they are provided with an Ambientum

collection design which lets you customize panels

with an image of your choice.
