EstimatesOne of the many things that sets MPA apart from others is our lot estimates. We give

a market based range of what we expect each lot to bring. It’s important to keep in mind

that the estimate ranges given are just that - estimates. While we feel if you bid in the

range given, your chance of success is excellent, there will be some cases that it will take

a higher bid and in some instances you might get a lot at a lower bid.

Our estimates are there to help you make informed bids. We don’t purposely list low

estimates so we can say later that lots brought more than expected and we don’t inflate

them in hopes of luring someone into paying too much. We have seen both these prac-

tices in use at other auctions and feel in the long run accuracy is best for both buyers

and sellers.
