Vision & Mission of MAOI

MRO Association of India (MAOI) was formed on June 8, 2011 as a Non-profit Professional Society which

represents the interest of all its members, voice the issues to various Government bodies and regulatory

authorities & work towards development of MRO as an industrial sector in India

We intend to promote the Indian MRO Industry & make it a key element of Aviation sector by:

• Catalyzing reform process through proactive interactions with the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) andDirectorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Defence Ministry

• Promoting the Indian MRO Industry by creating an environment for a safe, sustainable and economicallyviable industry

• Bringing Awareness and Visibility through Conferences and Seminars

• India’s Only MRO Forum is Aero MRO Aerospace & Defence, which is held annually since 2011

• Reviewing & providing courses/ modules to the young Aerospace and Aeronautics Engineers in India,thereby reducing the gap between industry demand and student’s knowledge for their suitability inmeeting the skill sets required by the industry

VI.Biggest achievement: MOCA engaging with MRO Association in creation of a Chapter on NCPA 2016 on

MRO

VII.Constantly increasing the membership base

IX.Was involved in creation of QP-NOS in collaboration with AASSC and NSDC
