SUMMERTIME THOUGHTS AND HUMOR

Almost every day of the week I receive 2 emails from Barbara Bowers, one is entitled “Words” and the second is called “Thought for Today.” They inspire, encourage, motivate and at times make me laugh. Here is the third annual summertime edition of “Words” and “Thought for Today.”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The secret of a happy life is giving God the first part of your day, the first priority to every decision, and the first place in your life. When you can't sleep at night, have you ever thought maybe it's God saying "We need to talk and now you have time." If you pursue happiness, it will elude you. But if you focus on your faith, your family, your friends, the needs of others, your work, and do the very best you can, happiness will find you.
