Interrogative
o An exclamatory sentence shows a strong feeling.
o This type of sentence ends with an exclamation point.
• The monster is attacking me!• I love school!• We just won our game!• Wow, that was a fun ride!
Exclamatory
o A declarative sentence gives a command.
o This type of sentence can end with a period or exclamation point.
• Close that door!• Go get your coat.• Please, leave that on my desk.• Walk down the hallway.
