In this week’s class:In Literacy: We continued with our Visual Autobiographies assignment and began our good copies. We also explored media elements and worked on the media part of the project. See the website for more details.

In Geography: We discussed population density and distribution patterns and explored Iqaluit in the fall.

In French: We began taking our selfies and creating our media presentations.

Coming attractions:In Literacy: We will review oral presentation strategies. Our good copies are due October 9.

In Geography: We will have a quiz on October 6 which will act as a “rehearsal” for our test on Friday.

In French: We will finish creating our powerpoints/ iMovies for our Selfie project.

This week in Literacy we had a class read-aloud vote (congratulations to The Maze Runner, the winner!) and continued our Visual Autobiography project. Check the class website for more details and due dates. In French, we continued working on our Selfie projects. A reminder that you should be reviewing French for at least 10 minutes a night. Check the website for new resources. We also did a class Jigsaw activity on Learning Skills.Next week we have a Geography quiz on Monday which will act as a practice for our unit test on Friday.
