Music Minutes

May 10th - Genesis Choir will sing in the 11:00 worship service. We will not wear robes. Meet in the Fellowship Hall, or your child will be gathered from their Sunday School room. After they sing, children can meet you or will be taken to Extended Session.

May 12th - 6:30-6:45pm -BRIEF rehearsal for 80th birthday/Pentecost services (see below)

May 15th - Genesis and Jubilee will sing with full or-chestra and Chancel Choir for HB's 80th birthday celebration/Pentecost. If you can swing both services that day, that would be great! No LightHouse, just 8:30 & 11 in the Sanctuary. Children will sit with their par-ents in the balcony until time to sing, near the end of the service. We are so excited that the children of the church will play a part in this exciting day! The children are learning their parts in choir. There is a Sign Up Genius to sign up for a specific service - check your email for the link.

May 18th - 5:30-7:15 -End of Year Picnic and Popsicle Party on the front lawn! Reservations@hbumc.org for dinner reservations.

3rd/4th Grades– Room 136

For children current Lambs/preschool 3’s through 5th grade. If the parent of a current Dove/preschool 2’s or younger is volunteering, childcare is available while the parent is volunteering. Volunteers of all ages and life stages are welcome!

Shepherd Sign Up is going on now! This year, we are requesting that shepherds sign up

for the full week, Monday through Friday. We feel that

having the same shepherds every day is really impor-

tant for the children and it will help everything run

much more smoothly. There will be two shepherds in

We would love to send a letter to any of our friends that are going away to camp this summer. Please send us your child’s camp address and the week/weeks they will be there.

Our nursery is a peanut-free zone. Please do not send

any peanut products with your child when coming to the

nursery.

Please be sure to send an extra set of clothes with

your child.

Please make sure your child’s name is on their personal

items (cups, etc.)

If your child uses a pacifier, please include a paci leash

to help avoid the accidental sharing of paci’s.
