M.Sc. (COMPUTER SCIENCE): PART I
ELIGIBILITY:
Minimum Qualification: Graduate in B.Sc.. with Statistics or Physics or Mathematics orB.Sc. Compo SC. or B.,SC. IT. or equivalent of a Statutory University.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:-
1. Original Mark sheet with 6 self attested photocopies; of the graduation levelexamination as per eligibility criteria.
2. Convocation Degree Certificates 3 Self attested photocopiesN.B.: Please see on page no. 4 of this prospectus for other required documents.
Original Certificate will be returned after verification of Form.
Student admitted provisionally on eligibility certificate require to submit the
migration certificate, and passing/degree certificate before 31st December for
confirmation of admission.
ADMISSION FEES FOR PART - I:
i) Rs.12,025/ - for General category.ii) Rs. 1000/- for the students of Reserve Category (Only for those who are eligible
and wish to apply for Free ship/Scholarship Scheme).

2. Student who fails to submit his/her Journals/ Project in time, their
Examination Hall Ticket will not be issued under any circumstances.
Standard of Passing:-
To pass the examination the candidate must secure 18 marks out of 75 marks in eachTheory paperseparately & 120 marks out of 300 marks in aggregate of all Theory papers and 12marks out of 50 marks in each practical separately & 80 marks of out of 200 marks in
aggregate of practical.

ELIGIBILITY CASE:-
The students from CBSE, NIOS, H.S.C. Boards other than Maharashtra State, Dip.
Ed. And Degree from other than University of Mumbai will have to obtain the
Eligibility Certificate which will be issued from Eligibility Unit, Room No. 108 (A),
Institute of Distance and Open Learning, Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma Bhavan,
Vidyanagari, Santacruz (E), Mumbai-98, before the admission. Application for
Provisional Statement of Eligibility will be available at Room No. 108 (A) (From the
Commencement date of admission, till last date of admission only). The
student should submit the attested xerox copies of all the certificates including all
years failed/ATKT marksheets and should produce all the original certificates while
submitting the application for Provisional Statement of Eligibility.
Required Documents for Obtaining Eligibility Certificate:
1.H.S.C. and onwards all examination (F.Y., S.Y. & T.Y.)2. Proof of Date of Birth3. Migration / Transferance Certificate.4. Passing/Convocation / Degree Certificate.5. Marriage Certificate/Gazette Notification (For female married students).
PAYMENT OF FEES
The fees can be paid through any one of the following modes of payment:
1. Online payment option through Debit/ Credit Cards/ Internet Banking.2. Bank Challan of Bank of Maharashtra only.
Attestation of Documents
The self-attested copies of documents/papers will be accepted. It is made
clear that if any false attestation / falsified record are detected, the Student will be
debarred from the University / institute and in addition a criminalcase under relevant
section of IPC (viz, 471, 474 IPC etc) will be institutedagainst him/her.
