All documentation to be supplied to MSCM is to be supplied to the following acceptance criteria, any

document found to be outside of this scope will be subject to Non-Conformance and rejection. This includes

electronic copies of any document.

Documentation is to be supplied as A3 or A4 size and be fully legible to this standard. All documentation

supplied is to be of a quality to allow suitable reproduction after scanning.

Certificate of Conformance required with all purchases where goods are using raw materials, the mill

certificates for the material being used is to be released to EN 10204 3.1 minimum, Purchase Order to be

checked as additional requirements and tests can be specified.

Where a sub-contract service is provided Certificate of Conformity is required along with any additional fully

traceable documentation to include material certificates, full report of work being carried out, qualifications of

test personnel.

If providing a sub-contract service please review documentation requirement for the relevant service being

provided:

WELDING

Welding please ensure that a copy of the relevant weld log showing a minimum of part number, revision, serial

number (Where applicable) of item being welded, weld number as referred to on weld map. Part numbers

being welded together (as shown on drawing/LOM where applicable)with material traceability to mill

certificate, weld wires with PMI used, WPS procedure number and PQR number are noted. Any reworked

welds are also to be shown as an addition to the original weld. (See example below of completed weld log &

weld log inclusive of rework).

RADIOGRAPHY

Radiography please ensure that the technique and procedure being used are shown on certificates along with

part number, revision, serial number (where applicable). Pass/Fail criteria, a copy of the radiograph image

with relevant markings to be shown. You are also required to provide the PCN qualification for the

radiographer carrying out the image review.

MAGNETIC PARTICLE INSPECTION

Certification required to show procedure used, part number, revision, serial number of item being tested

(where applicable), Pass/Fail criteria. You are also required to provide the PCN qualification for the operator

carrying out the procedure.

COATING

Certificate of Conformity and report certificate required stating the procedure being used, part number,

revision, serial number (where applicable) of item being coated. If additional tests, i.e Holiday adhesion test is

required results are to be clearly shown.

LOAD TEST CERTIFICATION

Unique Certificate of Conformity for each item being tested, stating procedure & load being carried out, along

with part number, revision & serial number of item. A copy of the completed procedure is to accompany each

Certificate of Conformity. Where witness is required by MSCM, MSCM client or a third party the procedure is

also to be signed by these personnel.

HOSE BUNDLE DOCUMENTATION PACKS TO INCLUDE:

Delivery Note

Certificate of Conformity - stating part number, revision and serial number (where applicable)

Certificates for all items used, hoses, strain wire, lay flat, bend restrictor, spiral guard etc.

Traceability List/Bill of Material (MSCM have a standard template available if required).

Hose Termination End Certificate (Material – mill certs required)

Hydrostatic Pressure test results. To 1.5x working pressure

Calibration certs

Pictures – showing all labelling and final product as delivered

For hose bundles that require FAT @ Suppliers

As the above plus

FAT to procedure………….Rev…….

Fully signed by Q.A. with test charts

Cleanliness/Flush results to SAE 4059 class 6B-F to be shown

Calibration certificate for all equipment used

NDT/PMI/Ferrite test results (if applicable)

Please invoice all items individually, even if multiple items delivered.

If ITP is applicable please note witness points and advise MSCM of relevant dates in order to issue

Notification of Inspection.

Scanned documents: All documents are to be adapted to a size whereas small characters can be interpreted

clearly using pdf file program (i.e. Adobe). Documents are ideally required to be printed with black characters

on a white background. Example of acceptance criteria shown below.

Font size for continuous text shall not be less than 9 points.

Minimal line spacing shall not be less than 120% of font size.

Photographs, Drawings, Graphics shall be scanned resolution to be 600 dpi or higher.
