3. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION

Designation: unharmful

Main Applications: Polyaluminium Chloride (PAC) is an inorganic high polymer flocculating

agent. Mainly used to purify drinking water, also used for special water treatment

removing the iron cadmium, fluoride, radioactive contamination, oil slicks etc. in the

special water quality. Also used for industrial wastewater treatment, such as printing and

dyeing wastewater, in the foundry, paper, pharmaceutical, leather and so on are also

widely used.

4. FIRST AID MEASURES

Skin Contact: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash affected area with flowing water for

at least 15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly. If unusual symptoms are observed, seek medical

advice.

Eye Contact: Flush with copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. If symptoms

arise, seek medical advice.

Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. Seek medical advice if symptoms persist.

Ingestion: Rinse out mouth and drink some milk or egg white. In case of unusual symptoms,

seek medical attention.

5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
