Modern snack food limited was establish in 1965It got its present name in 1982Located in Wazirpur Industrial Area, Delhi with 700 employeesIt has product like which includes various cakes, snack food and extensive array of commercial and house hold breads like White Sandwich , Milk Classic, Butter Special, , cream Rolls etc.It was taken over by Hindustan Lever Limited in January 2000It has distribution department includes one departmental head, one supervisor, one asst. supervisor, three foreman and twelve employeesAstt. The supervisor was autocratic.. supervisor was promoted twice in 7yearsAll the employees were satisfied except Neeraj Due to this reason Neeraj stopped working hard and turned to be inefficient in his work. This in turn made the productivity of next shift to suffer.The company is not flexible as it is of more formal goingAlthough there is a vertical structure with low span of control.Suggestions:

There should be a proper communication between high level and low level employees. There should be given a chance for the employees to give their opinions.There should be a planned procedure having clarity about policies and contract.The administration should be co-operative and good enough to listen to its employees problems.There should be matrix structure so that employees do not have a miscommunication.

Conclusion

It is better to have a matrix structure of organization in order to resolve the problem of miscommunication& To reduce the decision making gap. Although the employees are paid well they should be given an active role Management has autocratic to be changed to flexible. They make the organization more productive. Demotivation and disappointment of even a single employee growth and productivity
