A. Anxious (Strong 3309) - careful, to take thought.

B. Often translated (in neg. sense) anxious, over-anxious, worldly anxiety, full of care, worried.

II. USAGEA. Preoccupation with, concern for : 1. For worldly things (Mt. 6:25, 27, 28, 31, 34).
