CONFERENCE DESCRIPTION

The MT3 Conference is a bridge; a multidisciplinary conference with speakers from all levels of civilian and military medicine,

including medical education/ academia, and technology.

The 2011 MT3 conference will focus on emerging medical technologies to support and enhance the continuum of healthcare from point of injury through treatment to the restoration of health

and return to military service and/or civilian jobs. Presentations will focus on combat medic/first responders’ treatment at point of injury, through the evolving evacuation chain, first receivers at the

surgical resuscitation teams and combat support hospitals. The program will also explore the complex issues of definitive

psychological and physical rehabilitation (including traumatic brain injuries and post traumatic stress disorders) for “wounded
