D.E.S. urban mutations A different view of urban life in a fast changing world. Faced with the complexity and the fast pace of change seen with the urban planning, political and environmental aspects of contemporary urban life, the Master’s degree Urban Mutations propose an alternative view of urban living, with a focus on space, on the city itself and on people. This Master’s course encourages reflection and multidisciplinary creativity combining practices and ideas drawn from both the professional world and from research. This diploma is designed to enable students to develop a high level of professional skill in urban planning, and also provides an introduction to research. Goals Generating genuine debate concerning the emerging challenges of contemporary urban life; Giving students the key to analysing current and future urban changes; Mastering the various aspects of urban planning and urban management; Defining and refining the relevant tools and analysis via this project, which is a research subject in its own right.
