    TARGET AUDIENCE: BHRS and SFDPH Clinicians and Staff, ContractorsGOALS OBJECTIVES: Administer empirically based brief assessment scale to ascertain multicultural

    training needs.

    Increase cultural competence of staff, community based partners and contractors

    through four training modules: Multicultural Knowledge, Awareness of Cultural

    Barriers, Sensitivity and Responsiveness to Consumers, and Sociocultural Diversi-

    ties.

    CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION CREDITSThe San Mateo County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services is accredited by the Institute for

    Medical Quality/California Medical Association (IMQ/CMA) to provide continuing medical educa-

    tion for physicians. The San Mateo County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services takes re-

    sponsibility for the content, quality and scientific integrity of this CME activity.

    The San Mateo County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services designates this educational activity

    for a maximum of 32.0AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s). Physicians should only claim credit

    commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
