“Eight Types of Intelligence

Why is there a need to understand your child’s/learner’s

intelligence?

• To create an opportunity for the child to show his understanding of a concept in a way that he understands it best, and

• To be able to reach all students

Let’s Learn About Learning Styles

• A learning style is everything that controls how we take in, concentrate on, understand, process, store, remember, and use new information.

• It is one’s natural learning strengths and individual gifts.

Types of Learning Styles

• Visual - this type of student receives information best through their eyes and what they see and read.

• Auditory - this type of student learns best by hearing things - either on tape or in a discussion.

Types of Learning Styles

• Kinesthetic - this type of student reminds us of the term “energy in motion”.

• Tactile - this type of student learns best when he works with tools or with his hands

• Social - This student learns by interaction with other people. They need one on one attention.

• To enhance the learning potential of your child/learner

As 21st century educators, let us help the future educators of this

the nation, guiding the next generation after them.
