PIPE/CONDUIT PENETRATIONS U.N.O.

10. FOLLOWING THE REMOVAL OF EXISTING ROOFING MATERIAL, THE CONTRACTORSHALL PERFORM A GENERAL CONDITION SITE INSPECTION. NOTIFY ARCHITECT OFCONDITIONS.

11. THE METAL ROOF DECK SHALL BE CLEANED OF ANY SURFACE CORROSION PRIOR TOREROOFING. IN AREAS OF SEVERE CORROSION, STEEL DELAMINATION, OR OTHERSTRUCTURAL CONCERNS, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL CONTACT THE ARCHITECT FORREPAIR GUIDELINES. SUCH REPAIRS SHALL BE COMPLETED PRIOR TO REROOFING.

12. REMOVE EXISTING SEALANT AT ALL WALL CONTROL JOINTS AND PROVIDE NEWBACKER ROD AND SEALANT, CONTRACTOR TO FIELD VERIFY ALL LOCATIONS. INCLUDEINSIDE FACE OF PARAPETS AND OUTSIDE FACE OF EXTERIOR WALL TO GROUND ORADJACENT ROOF SURFACE. SEALANT SHALL MATCH EXISTING WALL COLOR WHEREVISIBLE.
