Visitors and Pasadenans can get a glimpse of the city’s rich history by

visiting Heritage Park and Museum. With a population of more than 150,000, Pasadena is Texas’

17th largest city. Today, our city’s attractions include Galveston Bay, NASA’s Johnson Space Center, the Port of

Houston and one of the world’s largest refining and chemical manufacturing complexes. However, many people overlook one of the most important elements of Pasadena’s rich heritage: the city is

the actual birthplace of free Texas...

We have come a long way from our roots as a small agricultural outpost just over a century ago. Guests can tour the historic Pomeroy House and Strawberry House, view distinctive antiques and memorabilia from the area’s first settlers, and hear the amazing stories of perseverance and commitment that helped build Pasadena into the strong, thriving city it is today.

Board MeetingsThe board meetings take place at the museum on January 5, February 2, March 2, April 6, May 4 and June 1.

Stroll Down Memory LaneOn March 21, bring your old photos, memories and stories to share with others over refreshments. Tour the Pomeroy Homestead, Strawberry House, Anna’s House and the Prairie House to remember Pasadena from the 1900s through the 1950s.

Photos will be scanned, and any information you have regarding the photos will be documented in an oral history.

Dinner MeetingsThe Dinner Meetings will take place at different locations on January 8 and March 5. Call for times and locations.

For more information and event times, please call: 713-472-0565. Or find us on Facebook: www.facebook.com/pasadenatexas
