Welcome
Welcome to the Training and Service Brochure for 2018
Our Training Department continues to offer an excellent mix of courses, with hands on Engineering and Operator training available across our entire range of Traysealers, Thermoformers, Check Weighers and Metal Detectors.
From 2018 Multivac UK Technical Team are now also responsible for the Servicing and Repair of TVI equipment in the UK and as a part of this we now offer Training and Support for both Engineer and Operator Training for TVI Products. Our courses focus on optimising machine performance and minimising machine downtime, through “hands on” training and we are happy to design bespoke courses to suit your specific business needs, run at either our Swindon Training facility or at your own site, whichever is more convenient.
Multivac UK are at the forefront of technology when it comes to training on our machines, which is why we have introduced tablet computers as a training aid for our Multi-skills training course. Attendees on this course are now provided with a Tablet Computer, which has training notes, documentation and videos loaded for the course they are undertaking. The Tablet can be used to add further notes and photos of the training as it progresses and is also used for pre and post interactive quiz sessions to aid with the learning process. Upon completion of the course the Tablet becomes the property of the attendee to take away and they can then upload machine drawings, service manuals and parts lists on to the device for use at their place of work. The use of Tablets also allows us to reduce our carbon footprint through the reduction of printing of paper based Training Manuals.
In 2018 your business could again benefit from partnering with Multivac to maintain the quality and efficiency of your machines and ensure the maximum lifecycle of these valuable and essential assets. Our Field Service Team now stands at 42 and will be increasing this year to 45 to ensure maximum continuity and customer contact and quickest reaction times from initial breakdown to attendance on site.
We look forward to working in partnership with you through our Training and Field Service and welcoming you to Multivac UK in 2018.
*Please note due to the high cost of cancellations, all courses require a PO Number as confirmation of booking (Including FOC places) if the places are canceled within 14 days of the course date, full charges will apply. 2
