components with the help of cloud watch API provided by AWS. Created shell script to perform standard restart activities on EC2 instances behind the load balancer to have a loss less

incoming user traffic. Automated tomcat war file deployments. Automated the process of moving PROD/PRE-PROD/DEV environments (Managed through puppet) from one SVN branch to

another branch which became useful in agile software development environment.

PHP

Used PHP with HTML/CSS to design SLA dashboard for SLA status of grid jobs running on Hadoop file system. Dashboard fetches job information from Oracle data base and displays the SLA status and its duration in graph and tabular form and also the same script had been multiplexed to send weekly, monthly reports as cron job.

Python

As part of CIP (Continuous Improvement Plan), developed generic GUI based python script to run Linux commands remotely on EC2 instances behind the given load balancer from any client operating system (Windows, Linux, Macintosh). This saved monthly, 7.5 hours of man power for a count of 12 servers.

Networking
